Moving forward, BNB Chain Extension Wallet will enter maintenance mode.
As you navigate this transition, it's essential to choose a path that not only continues your Web3 journey but enhances it with strong security and a spectrum of possibilities. That's where Trust Wallet’s Browser Extension comes in. The Trust Wallet Extension has all the features you expect from the Binance Wallet Extension such as being able to buy crypto, swapping, connecting a hardware wallet and being able to safely manage your assets.
However, The Trust Wallet Browser Extension takes things a step further by providing a more feature rich experience, more in-wallet features such as staking, as well as support for 10M+ assets across ~100 blockchain networks. Transitioning to Trust Wallet offers not just continuity but an upgrade in managing your crypto, NFTs, and entire Web3 experience.

Installing the Trust Wallet Browser Extension
Obtaining your secret phrase (seed phrase) from the BNB Chain Extension Wallet
Importing your secret phrase (seed phrase) into the Trust Wallet Browser Extension
Note: Trust Wallet has both a mobile app and browser extension – and you could use either (or both) to migrate your assets. In this example, we’ll import the secret phrase from your BEW over to the Trust Wallet Extension.
Let’s get started!
1. Install the Trust Wallet Browser Extension
Be sure to install the latest version of the Trust Wallet Browser Extension if you haven’t already. Then proceed to the next step.
2. Obtain your secret phrase (seed phrase) from the BNB Chain Extension Wallet (BEW)
Note: Do not share your secret phrase with ANYONE, even customer service agents!
Open the BEW and enter your password to unlock the wallet.
Select your account icon in the top right corner.
Choose “Settings”.
Note: We encourage you to do these steps in a secure location in order to protect your seed phrase.
Choose “View Seed Phrase”.
Enter your password and select “Next”.
Note down your seed phrase or copy it for the next step.
3. Import your secret phrase into the Trust Wallet Browser Extension
Now that you have your secret phrase (seed phrase), it’s time to enter it into your Trust Wallet Browser Extension.
Open the Trust Wallet Browser Extension, and choose “Import or recover wallet”.
Create a secure password, and select “Next”.
Paste in your seed phrase (secret phrase) and select “Next”.
Follow the remaining instructions and then open your wallet when promoted.
And that’s it! You’ve migrated your assets from the BNB Chain Extension Wallet to the Trust Wallet Browser Extension.
