Trust Wallet Adds Theta
We are happy to announce that we are now supporting Theta and Theta Fuel(TFUEL) . Theta is a decentralized open source video streaming platform, powered by its users and an innovative new blockchain. Theta Fuel is the operational token of the Theta protocol. It is the second token in the Theta protocol that works in conjunction with the main Theta Token itself.
“The Theta blockchain is the only end-to-end infrastructure for decentralized video streaming and delivery that provides both technical and economic solutions,” said Viktor Radchenko, Founder of Trust Wallet. “It will be excited to see how this project will unfold. If they deliver on their promises, it could be huge.”
Our mission emphasizes making cryptocurrency and our multi-asset wallet as easy-to-use and accessible as possible. Trust Wallet already supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Tron, XRP, all ERC20 tokens, and other digital currencies. Adding Theta wallet support is an important next step in continuing with that mission.

Theta is an open source protocol that powers a decentralized streaming network. It will allow for decentralized apps (DApps) to be built on top of the platform to enable use cases that span esports, entertainment, and peer-to-peer streaming. SLIVER.tv’s DApp was the first application built on the Theta network leveraging its existing user base of millions of esports viewers. In Nov 2018, Tencent Games announced a collaboration with SLIVER.tv to bring Theta rewards to Ring of Elysium players. The founding team has a combined 30+ years of experience in the video streaming space with advisors including Steve Chen, Co-Founder of YouTube, and Justin Kan, Co-Founder of Twitch.
