Dust Cleaner: unlock more value from your wallet

We’re excited to introduce Dust Cleaner, a new wallet-native feature that helps you unlock more value from your wallet by safely cleaning up small, unused token balances – commonly known as dust.

Dust in your wallet builds up naturally over time. It comes from things like partial swaps, airdrops, and experiments across different networks. Individually, these balances are small, but together they create wallet clutter, lock up value, and can even introduce security risk, especially when unknown tokens go unnoticed.

Most wallets either hide dust or push users toward manual swaps and exchanges. That often means overpaying in gas, adding friction, or taking on unnecessary risk.

Dust Cleaner takes a different approach. It only lets you clean dust when it’s economically worth it, with full transparency and complete user control.

No forced swaps, hidden fees, or transactions that cost more than they return.

How Dust Cleaner works

Dust Cleaner scans your wallet for small token balances across supported networks and checks each cleaning action against real-time gas fees and token prices. If a transaction would return less value than it costs, the action is blocked. If it makes sense, you’ll see the exact outcome before confirming.

On EVM networks, dust tokens are grouped and processed in a single action per network. Instead of multiple separate swaps, eligible tokens are handled together, reducing total gas and simplifying the experience.

On Solana, where burning SPL tokens is natively supported, Dust Cleaner sends a single instruction to burn selected dust tokens. This removes them from your wallet and frees up associated account rent.

Across all networks, nothing happens automatically. You choose which networks and tokens to include, set your own minimum threshold, and approve the final result before anything executes.

Special notes for the launch period of Dust Cleaner

Dust Cleaner launches as a Trust Wallet Premium-only feature for the first month, giving early access to users who want the latest tools first. After that, it will be available to all Trust Wallet users. Learn more about how to access Premium benefits.

How to get started with Dust Cleaner

• Ensure you have the latest version of Trust Wallet.

• Select the manage balances icon, as shown in the image below.

• Choose Dust Cleaner, then select which balances you’d like to sweep. You can currently select up to 10 balances.

• Review the details and then complete the sweep.
