We’re excited to announce that Trust Wallet now supports XRPL tokens! This means users can now send, receive, and manage tokens issued on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), in addition to the native XRP coin.
The XRP Ledger (XRPL) is a decentralized, layer 1 blockchain that powers XRP, one of crypto’s largest and longest-standing assets. Known for its speed, efficiency, and reliability, XRPL has been at the forefront of blockchain innovation for over a decade.
This token support integration is a key milestone in bringing even more exciting features to the Trust Wallet ecosystem. By enabling XRPL token functionality, we’re laying the groundwork for deeper interoperability and expanded use cases within the XRPL network.
For years, millions of users have relied on Trust Wallet to interact with XRP. Now, with this latest integration, users can also manage XRPL tokens like ARMY, RLUSD and many others—unlocking even more ways to engage with the XRP Ledger ecosystem.
Getting started is easy—just download Trust Wallet if you haven’t already or update your app to the latest version.
Start Exploring XRLP Tokens
Now that Trust Wallet supports XRPL tokens, you can filter for those tokens anytime you want. You can either scroll down through your asset balances from the main page, or you can do the following:
Select the “Manage crypto” icon.
In the network dropdown selector, and select “XRP”.
Turn the toggle switch on, for all the assets you want to appear on the balances page.
Enable XRPL Tokens
Before you receive and use a specific XRPL token in your wallet, you need to “enable” it. Enabling specific tokens also prevents unauthorized assets or scam tokens from being sent to your wallet address. Here’s how to enable XRPL tokens in Trust Wallet.
Locate the token you want to enable.
Select the “Enable” button.
Select the “Confirm” button.
Note: Enabling a token incurs Network and Reserve Fees. These are blockchain fees, which are not controlled by or paid to Trust Wallet.
How to Receive and Send XRPL Tokens
Depositing and withdrawing tokens on the XRPL is super simple. Here’s how.
Receive (Deposit) XRPL Tokens
Select the “Receive” button.
Search for the asset you want to deposit.
Copy your deposit address.
Take your copied address and use that in your other wallet or exchange to send the tokens.
Send (Withdraw) XRPL Tokens
Search for and select the asset you want to withdraw.
On the token details page, select “Send”.
Enter the destination address, amount, and Destination Tag (if applicable).
Review the details and select “Confirm”.
Stay Tuned for More Updates
This integration is just the beginning. By enabling XRPL token support, we’re laying the foundation for even more powerful features and seamless experiences ahead. The possibilities within the XRP Ledger ecosystem are growing, and we’re committed to bringing you more ways to explore, transact, and unlock new opportunities. Be sure to get the latest version of Trust Wallet to start exploring XRPL in a whole new way. Learn more about XRPL and stay tuned—there’s so much more to come!
