How Does Aster DEX Work?
A user connects a self-custody wallet on one of Aster's supported chains.
They deposit collateral (stablecoins or native tokens) to the Aster smart contracts.
They choose a perpetual market and open a long or short position with their chosen leverage.
Positions are tracked and settled on-chain by Aster's protocol contracts.
Users can close positions and withdraw collateral at any time.
