We’re excited to announce that Trust Wallet now supports swaps on the Sonic blockchain — including both same-chain swaps (SONIC ↔ Sonic-based tokens) and cross-chain swaps (SONIC ↔ assets on Ethereum, BNB Chain, and others), on mobile and browser extension!
This update unlocks frictionless access to one of the fastest-growing new Layer 1s, right from your self-custody wallet. Whether you're deep in DeFi or just exploring the Sonic ecosystem, swapping is now seamless, secure, and built right into your wallet.

How to Swap Sonic Tokens in Trust Wallet
-
Open Trust Wallet - Make sure you’re on the latest app version (iOS or Android).
-
Tap “Swap” on the Home Screen - Enter the simple, intuitive swap interface.
-
Select Your Tokens
Choose your “From” token (SONIC or any Sonic token)
Choose your “To” token (on Sonic or another chain)
Enter the amount
Trust Wallet will auto-detect if the swap is same-chain or cross-chain and show you the best rate. 4. Review & Confirm
Check the details, confirm the gas, and hit “Swap”. That’s it!
Tip: Keep a small balance of SONIC for gas fees when interacting on the Sonic chain.
Same-Chain Swaps ($S ↔ Sonic Tokens)
You can now seamlessly swap between $S and Sonic-native tokens like:
$ZAP
$GEM
$WARP
$FURY
… and more coming soon
These swaps happen instantly and cost just a fraction of a cent in gas — thanks to Sonic’s high throughput and L2 performance.
Cross-Chain Swaps (SONIC ↔ Other Chains)
Want to move liquidity across ecosystems? Now you can swap Sonic to and from:
Ethereum
Bitcoin
Tron
Solana
Base
BNB Smart Chain
Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Optimism, and more
Trust Wallet finds the most efficient path — no need for a separate bridge or app. Just choose your tokens and swap.
