TWT Gas Fee Discount

Summary

Trust Wallet’s new product addition, Trust Wallet Swift, allows users to pay for gas in 200+ types of tokens across 7 networks (BNB Chain, Polygon, opBNB, Arbitrum one, Optimism, Avalanche C, Base).

For users who chose to use Trust Wallet Token (TWT) as the gas fee, they can enjoy a 6% discount on those gas fees for a cheaper, efficient on-chain experience, compared to any other ERC20 tokens.

NOTE: TWT discount is only available on the BNB chain network, and gas fee dicount payment payment with ERC20 tokens is only available in Trust Wallet Swift product and not on the Secret Phrase wallet(EOA). Native coins(e.g., BNB on BNB Chain) are the cheapest in terms of gas compared to other ERC20 tokens including TWT. (This TWT discount is not directed towards UK citizens)

How to pay for gas with TWT

(This pay-gas-with-erc20 functionality also applies to the in-app 'Swap' feature too)

• Click on the token you want to send from the home screen

• Click on “Send” button in the token details page

• After clicking “Send” input the address of the recipient and the amount you want to send and click “Next”

• In the confirmation screen for the transfer, click on the Gas token icon

• Click on the TWT option in the “Available” section In order to pay gas with TWT:

1. Users have to deposit TWT in their wallet

2. Users should have enough TWT to cover the gas fee

• The gas token type will be changed to TWT

• When you click confirm, you just paid gas with TWT!
